I’M A CELEB BLAZE FEAR
Raging Oz bushfires threat to camp:
I’M A Celebrity could be thrown into chaos as deadly bushfires rage close to the set.
Producers may be forced to evacuate the stars after huge fires were reported to be only 40 miles away last night and getting nearer.
Firefighters are struggling to contain up to 200 blazes in the furnace conditions of a 36C heatwave across Australia’s Queensland.
A show insider said: “We speak to the fire services regularly and we are monitoring the nearest bushfires today in Oxenford and Wongawallan.
“There is no immediate danger, but the safety and the welfare of our cast and crew is our number one concern, and so we will continue to watch how the fires develop.”
Thousands of residents have already fled.
Stars have previously been evacuated from the camp due to flooding and heavy storms.
BUSH fires are raging out of control close to the I’m A Celeb camp.
Producers could be forced to evacuate show favourites including Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, footie hero Harry Redknapp and TV legend Noel Edmonds.
The telly hit could disappear from our screens altogether if the wildfire moves any closer to the iconic camp.
That’s all we need.
With the nights drawing in and all the doom and gloom of Brexit, this year’s I’m A Celeb has proved a little ray of sunshine as we hunker down in front of the box.
In its 16-year history, it could be the first time the show is forced off air.
An insider said they are praying the flames don’t get any closer.
More than 300 Aussie firefighters are battling the blaze in 36C heat. Let’s hope they can safely tackle the inferno and save the entire area from destruction. We need our I’m A Celeb fix to give Britain a badly needed boost.
