POLICE looking into an alleged organised fight between rival football fans held 14 men in dawn raids.

The arrests came after a video showing two groups fighting was posted online.

During the confrontation, two sides of 10 men appear to brawl for around three minutes, throwing punches and fly-kicking each other.

There also appears to be a coach for both sides as they scrap on wasteland.

At the end the men are seen shaking hands.

It is claimed the groups in the video are fans of two London-based Championship teams – Brentford and Millwall.

The 14 men, aged between 18 and 37, were arrested across London on suspicion of violent disorder.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “The arrests relate to what police believe to be a pre-arranged fight between fans from Brentford FC and Millwall FC, which was filmed and posted online.”According to officers, the fight took place in Hounslow, the west London borough where Brentford are based.

One season ticket holder, who did not want to be named, said: “I have been going to Brentford games for 20 years and these people aren’t real fans.”

South-east London club Millwall– who are 22nd in the Championship table – declined to comment.
