THOU­SANDS of vot­ers have ac­cepted cheeky in­vites to “Theresa May’s leav­ing drinks”.

The Prime Min­is­ter is ex­pected to lose a cru­cial Com­mons vote on her Brexit plans on Tues­day, which could see her forced to quit.

Now jok­ers have mocked the PM by cre­at­ing an event for her de­par­ture, and invit­ing peo­ple on Face­book to at­tend.

Last night more than

6,600 peo­ple had promised to show up to the do, with an­other

28,000 click­ing they were “in­ter­ested”.

Even the lo­ca­tion is a dig at the PM, with it set to take place in Chequers, birth­place of her “dead deal”.

The event or­gan­is­ers said: “Cel­e­brate the UK’s dampest ever squib of a PM get­ting her march­ing or­ders.”
