999 crews are tip-top

Daily Star - - NEWS -

CHRISTMAS is supposed to be the most generous time of the year.

A season when we give thanks and spread cheer. But it seems not everyone understands this.

Scrooge ambulance bosses are forcing heroic paramedics to hand over Christmas tips.

A mystery Santa has been pinning money and vouchers on the emergency vehicles.

Christmas cards were left thanking crews for being “awesome”.

But London Ambulance Service chiefs have ordered crews to give up the cash.

How heartless can you be?

Their mean decision has not gone down well. Staff are unhappy and say it is hitting morale.

Our brave emergency services work hard all year and save countless lives.

They should surely be allowed to keep the tips.
