A NEW rule allowing football teams to bring on extra players if they’re losing have been slammed as “ridiculous”.
The FA “Power Play” rule kicks in when sides are trailing by four goals. At that point they can bring on an extra player – and can add more if the drubbing continues. The aim is to keep up the morale of youngsters.
