RICH DRIVERS A BIG HAZARD
WEALTHY drivers on UK roads are more dangerous than those with less money.
When quizzed on their knowledge of British driving laws, people in high-earning jobs, such as chief executives and surgeons, knew considerably less than casual labourers, students and the unemployed.
They were also found to be three times more likely to get out their phone at the wheel.
Mark Tongue of Select Car Leasing, which carried out the poll, said: “Being well-off enough to afford a fine doesn’t mean the rules don’t apply.”
