Students get tips on how to use toilet

SNOWFLAKE students are now getting instructio­ns on how to use the toilet.

A sign warns loo users that they should not sit on the bog with their legs drawn in.

And it also gives advice on what to do with toilet paper.

The sign, spotted in a ladies’ loo at Birmingham City University, reads: “To ensure the toilets remain clean for you and other people please sit appropriat­ely to avoid mess.

“Please ensure that used toilet roll is placed in the toilet and flushed away.

“Please check to ensure the toilet has flushed properly and is clean for the next person to use.”

One student wrote mockingly on social media: “Really impressed with the toilet usage instructio­ns.”

And another added: “You would think brainy students at Birmingham City SITTING COMFORTABL­Y: Advice for students writer added: “It seems that the next generation needs a bit more help than we thought, hahaha.”

It is not known what happened to prompt university bosses to publish the signs.

No-one was available to comment at the university last night.

“Apparently not. I saw this sign in the ladies’ there and presumably there is something similar in the gents.”
