LOUIS OOSTHUIZEN broke down in tears after winning his first South African Open by a record six shots.

The home favourite finished with a four-under 67 to cruise to victory.

Oosthuizen (left) said: “I knew it was either going to be very special or heartbreaking.”

Englishman Oliver Wilson was joint third.
