Bosses kick out fan flags

-

RUGBY flags were confiscated by health and safety killjoys in case they caught fire.

Irish side Leinster brought 1,500 flags for their European tie against Bath on Saturday.

But the home side banned them.

Leinster tweeted: “@bathrugby are refusing to let us distribute them.

“These flags have been passed as safe by airports and stadia all over the world.

“We would like to apologise.”

One fan joked: “It’s like saying supporters can’t attend games because their clothing might be flammable.”

Leinster had the last laugh, running out 17-10 winners.
