CHARLIE ON TAP TO HELP
PRINCE Charles gets his hands on the taps as he takes a tour of a village local. The heir to the throne stopped for a tipple at the Fleece Inn, which is part of a scheme to save pubs that he inspired.
In 2001, the Prince of Wales sparked the start of “Pub
Is The Hub”, which helps communities stay together by making sure their pub is supported by locals.
The 70-year-old prince had some Guinness and played darts during the visit to the boozer in Hillesley, Glos.
The king-to-be branded his stout “marvellous” before stepping up to the oche with his arrows.
Scoring a total of 24 with three darts, one regular asked the Prince if he was free on Monday, perhaps hoping for a suitable opponent.
