DAVID DE GEA is said to on the verge of a massive new contract at Manchester United – and he will have to earn it at Anfield tomorrow.

The Spain internatio­nal’s future at the Old Trafford has been the subject of intense speculatio­n.

Now, though, it looks like he will stay in Manchester after telling pals he is on the verge of agreeing new terms which could total over £400,000-a-week after bonuses. Nice work.

A clean sheet against bitter foes Liverpool would be only De Gea’s third of the season – but I would not bet on it.
