HER Majesty will send a message to Kate and Meghan in her Christmas speech amid rumours of a feud between the sisters-in-law.

The Queen is set to highlight the importance of treating others with “respect and as a fellow human being”.

The Duchesses of Cambridge and Sussex are widely reported to have had a spat over Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May.

Kate was reportedly left in tears over Meghan’s strict demands for Princess Charlotte at her bridesmaid dress fitting. And in tomorrow’s pre-recorded speech, which the Royal Family watch, the Queen says: “Even with the most deeply held differences, treating the other person with respect and as a fellow human being is always a good first step towards greater understanding.”

The monarch also highlights the importance of family and the spirit of goodwill.

She says: “Through the many changes I have seen over the years, faith, family and friendship have been not only a constant for me but a source of personal comfort and reassurance.”

Peace

“I believe his message of peace on Earth and goodwill to all is never out of date. It can be heeded by everyone; it’s needed as much as ever.”

The Queen recorded this year’s Christmas message to the Commonwealth in the White Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace.

The video shows a photograph of Princess Elizabeth, the Duke of Edinburgh and a young Prince Charles from 1948, on a table.

Pregnant Meghan and Prince Harry are said to have been “snubbed” by Kate and William over the festive period.

They are set to stay with 30 other guests at Sandringham, rather than with William and Kate.

Instead of returning to Kate and William’s spacious 10-bedroom country pile at Anmer Hall, they are to spend tomorrow at the Norfolk estate, where insiders claim they will be “squashed in like sardines”.

Rumours have persisted that the royal sisters-in-law do not get along.

In May, Kate, 36, who had only recently given birth, was apparently upset by Meghan’s strict demands for three-year-old Charlotte, just three weeks before the wedding.
