Club fiend drove on to dance­floor

THIS is the mo­ment a club­ber found guilty of at­tempted mur­der ploughed a car on to a packed dance­floor af­ter bounc­ers chucked him out.

Dis­grun­tled Mo­hammed Ab­dul said he felt “hu­mil­i­ated” af­ter be­ing barred from Blake’s night­club in Gravesend, Kent, on March 17 last year.

The 21-year-old was con­victed of two counts of at­tempted mur­der fol­low­ing a re-trial at Maid­stone Crown Court. He had told staff he would come back to kill them and “shut the place down” mo­ments be­fore smash­ing through the wall.

Club­go­ers told how they feared it could be a ter­ror­ist at­tack and thought the driver might have ex­plo­sives or knives on him.

Katie Wells, then 18, was among those who suf­fered se­ri­ous in­juries – in­clud­ing a frac­tured pelvis – and was in court to see the ver­dict. Ab­dul is due to be sen­tenced to­day.
