Couple catch doorbell licking man on CCTV
A MAN was filmed on CCTV licking a family’s doorbell for three hours.
Roberto Arroyo, 33, was seen getting intimate with the buzzer and urinating in their front garden.
His bizarre antics took place while the residents were out of town but their children were asleep in the house.
Sylvia and Dave Dungan noticed something was wrong after they got several notifications from their security system in the small hours. The repeated alerts woke the couple up.
Sylvia said: “I thought: ‘Boy, there’s a lot of traffic. Five in the morning? My son doesn’t get home until 6am. Well, then, who the heck is that?’”
The man looked down the lens of the camera as he tongued the doorbell.
US police in Salinas, California, say they have identified the man as Arroyo. Shocked citizens took to social media to tell of their disgust. One tweeted: “Something tells me this isn’t his first doorbell licking. But, seriously, he’s a perv.”
Another added: “This is some of the creepiest s *** I have ever seen.”
Others said they could think of worse things, with one saying: “I’d rather lick a doorbell for three hours than listen to one more word from Donald Trump.”
Sylvia added: “You kind of laugh about it afterwards because technically he didn’t do anything.”
Arroyo, who police are now searching for, is believed to have also visited neighbouring properties.
A police spokesman said: “The image was so clear it didn’t take us long to identify this individual.”
