advised. Confirming the pursuit of Hudson-Odoi, Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said: “He’s a very interesting player whom we absolutely want to sign.

“He has qualities that fit our game. His dribbling, he’s fast and has a good move to goal.”

Chelsea team-mate Antonio Rudiger, who spent most of his career in the Bundesliga, even revealed that the youngster has been pumping him for advice.

Rudiger said: “He asked me about Germany. I can advise him but at the end of the day he decides about his future.

“He can develop as well here. You can see it from both sides. Bayern Munich is also a big club.

“I wish him all the best for the future but I hope he stays at Chelsea. He has all the tools to become a big player.”

The Blues are weighing up a £50m move for Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson (below) as they search for a striker.

Boss Maurizio Sarri has long been pushing Chelsea to sign Gonzalo Higuain, a player he had success with at Napoli.

But Juventus want Chelsea to take over terms of his loan to AC Milan, which includes an obligation to buy for

£32m in the summer.

The Blues would also have to pay an

£8m loan fee, which when taken together could be a dealbreaker as Higuain will be 32 in December.

England striker Wilson,

26, is regarded as a much better investment by the club’s board.

A new signing could see flop Alvaro Morata move on loan to Atletico Madrid.
