Despite living a life of luxury the former Towie star is haunted by self-doubt.
KATE Wright has admitted she is crippled with anxiety and finds “most days a battle” despite her millionaire’s lifestyle with ex-footballer fiancé Rio Ferdinand.
The former reality TV celeb quit Towie and became a fulltime mother to the ex-England and Manchester United star’s three children.
They fell in love two years after his wife Rebecca’s death from breast cancer.
Since then Kate, 27, has posted a stream of photos to her 900,000 Instagram followers showing her beaming with happiness in exotic locations around the world.
The couple sealed their love when Rio, 40, popped the question in Abu Dhabi three months ago.
Kate told fans it was the “perfect end to our holiday”, adding: “How could the answer not be yes?”
But now she has conceded real life is not as glamorous as her Instagram account suggests.
She admitted to being haunted by self-doubt and told of struggles to love herself.
Kate said she had been so focussed on “making sure everyone else is OK” she had neglected herself. And she said: “This year I am working on me.”
In a bombshell online announcement, she wrote: “One of my New Year’s resolutions is to accept myself, something I have struggled with.
“Anyone that knows me well knows I suffer with bad anxiety and really struggle to love myself.
“Most days are a battle with what’s going on in my head.
“I’ve sort of kept this off social media as I’ve been to scared to share it, and the less I shared the more distant Instagram is from my daily life.”
But she vowed: “That’s going to change this year. I’m going to give more of the ups and downs, not just the fun times.”
The latest revelations are sure to shock Kate’s army of followers – who previously believed she led a dream lifestyle.
