PM told: Just call election
MINISTERS have urged Theresa May to “go nuclear” and call an election on April 4 to complete Brexit.
They are said to be terrified Tory rebels will block a no-deal departure.
The Prime Minister is facing a massive defeat in the Commons next week over her proposed Brexit plans.
If no agreement is reached with the EU and approved by Parliament, critics claim the UK faces economic chaos.
Senior ministers now say she must act or face rebels “killing the Government in a brutal defeat”.
One minister said an election could finally deliver Brexit, adding: “The public are saying: ‘Just f***ing get on with it.’”
