Betting on girl for Meg

BOOKIES last night suspended betting on Meghan giving birth to a girl this spring.

Paddy Power was the first to tell punters all bets were off after a sudden flurry sparked suspicions.

A spokesman said: “The flow of bets has been almost as heavy as the general goodwill towards the couple – and we’re now convinced they’re having a girl.”

The news came as a top bodyguard resigned after six months.

The unnamed female officer led the team who whisked Meghan away from a crowded market in Fiji last year amid a flood of security concerns.

There have been reports officers are exhausted by Meghan’s habit of mixing so freely with the public.

One source said: “She can’t go anywhere without protection, and that’s a huge constraining force.”
