Knife girl aged 10

A GIRL aged 10 who was found with a knife by teachers at a breakfast club is believed to have been copying a violent video game.

The youngster was immediately excluded from Newlands Primary School in Southampton.

Headteacher Karen Mellor said: “The police investigation has led us to believe that the child naively brought the knife to school in a misguided attempt to roleplay an online game.”
