Ed’s wedding will be ruddy mental!
ED Sheeran is NOT a married man yet, according to his mates Rudimental.
People assumed Ed secretly got hitched to girlfriend Cherry Seaborn last year after he reacted sheepishly when questioned about a new ring that appeared on his wedding finger.
But Rudimental, who have recorded with Ed several times, spilled that they have been invited to his big day later this year.
Band member Piers Aggett told me: “We did get an invite to the wedding and I’m looking forward to it.
“He had to invite us after we said we’ll crash it, we will have a drink with him and celebrate his amazing day.”
And the lads reckon they’ll end up on the decks.
Bandmate Kesi Dryden told me: “There’s no way that we are going to the wedding and we won’t be DJing.
“He hasn’t asked, it’s just what happens at some point.
“I’m pretty sure it will be fun, Ed’s got a lot of friends and he’s a nice guy.”
Rudimental’s brilliant new album Toast To Our Differences drops tomorrow.
But the lads have a bunch of songs with Ed Sheeran which may see the light of day later this year too.
Kesi explained: “There are some Ed tracks on the hard drive.
“He is really excited about one of those and we are working out how to get it over the line and finished soon, so watch this space.”
In the meantime fans will have plenty to consume on Rudimental’s new 16-track LP.
Piers added: “Attention spans are shorter but we wanted to bring out something the fans will have for a while, it might take you a year to get through all the tracks.
“It’s not a short album. You won’t be able to listen to it on the M25 – you might have to go on the M1.”
Rudimental are up for British Video and British Single at the BRIT Awards next month. BLABBERMOUTH has told her pals how Game Of Thrones ends.
The actress, who plays Sansa Stark, say she’s revealed what happens in the finale of the TV show. Sophie confessed: “I’m so bad at keeping secrets.
“I don’t think people tell me things any more because they know that I can’t keep them. “I’ve already told the ending of Game Of Thrones to a few people.”
