GIANT DOWNED BY POOR SALES
THOUSANDS of Airbus jobs are at risk after the firm announced it is stopping production of its superjumbo A380 plane.
The firm said it had made the “painful” decision after struggling to sell the world’s largest passenger jet.
Airbus admitted “3,000 to 3,500” posts could be affected internationally. Around 200 of those jobs are in Broughton, Flints, and Filton, near Bristol.
