Seann: I’m stupid, selfish...and sorry!

LOVE rat Seann Walsh has finally taken all the blame and apologised for his infamous snog with Strictly co-star Katya Jones.

The comedian was pictured smooching his pro dance partner after a boozy night out while filming the BBC hit late last year.

In his first interview since the kiss, Seann admitted he was “stupid and selfish”.

Seann, 33, was in a relationship with Rebecca Humphries at the time and Katya is married.

He has now admitted to “abusing” his distraught actress ex. He tells all on The Jonathan Ross Show tonight.

Seann said: “I was hurtful to someone that I cared about and someone that I respected and I still care about and still respect.

“I will always be sorry about what I did.

“I think when it all blew up, I don’t think I reacted in the correct manner. I didn’t know what to do, it was huge.”

After the photo of Seann and Katya, 29, snogging on a boozy night out last year surfaced Rebecca posted a public letter.

In it she said: “I am not a victim.”

She added she had her suspicions about Seann and that he had called her “psycho/nuts/mental” for speaking up. Rebecca then went on to slate Seann for adding a second “n” to his name and said she had taken the cat.

Seann says he has since apologised to his ex.

He added: “I think if you lie and cheat on the person that you’re meant to care for and be in a relationship with, then that is a form of abuse, of course it is.

“All I can be is as sorry as I am. I hope one day that she’ll forgive me. We’ve not had much contact. I have apologised.

“With [her] statement, it’s funny how things work out because actually I’m grateful for that statement because if she hadn’t posted that, if I’m honest I probably wouldn’t have looked at myself and tried to change and I think I’ve done that.”

He went on to wish Rebecca the best in her future.

Seann and Katya were voted off Strictly three weeks after the photos of them kissing were published during last year’s show.

And while Katya and Seann apologised, he did not take part in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
