But she came out in support of the King of Pop hours before a controversial documentary accusing him of child abuse aired.

Posting for the first time since August, the Jacko fan claimed he was “innocent” of the shocking allegations made in Channel 4’s Leaving Neverland.

She shared a picture on Instagram of the late singer performing, accompanied by lyrics from his song Tabloid Junkie.

The ex Emmerdale actress wrote: “Just because you read it in a magazine or see it on the TV screen, don’t make it factual...” (Lyrics: Tabloid Junkie) #michaeljackson #mjinnocent.”

A source said: “Roxy has been an MJ fan since she was little.

“Her loyalty to the star is admirable given that not many stars want to be vocal with public support on this matter.”

However, critics blasted her for supporting the singer. One wrote: “Well if anyone knows about making up false allegations it’s Wooden Pallett!”

Another said: “Cos she can be trusted – NOT.”

Roxanne was pictured with Jacko’s brothers Jermaine, Tito, Jackie and Marlon after one of their gigs in 2017.

Meanwhile, Jacko fans protested outside Channel 4 headquarters in London before the documentary was shown.
