Jackson girl slams reports on Twitter
DEFIANT Paris Jackson made her first public appearance since her alleged suicide bid in a jacket saying: “I’m fine.”
Family members claim Michael’s troubled daughter was “living in a pressure cooker” before she was rushed to an LA hospital on Saturday morning.
The 20-year-old felt the “eyes of the world” were on her following claims in a Channel 4 documentary that her megastar dad abused teenage boys.
Paris denied reports that she tried to take her own life at the weekend but friends say she has struggled with the social media onslaught after
Leaving Neverland aired.
A family source said:
“Paris has become detached from those close to her in recent weeks, and cannot see a way out of this pressure cooker.
“She had balanced being famous and her life as an independent woman well for a couple of years, but this recent attack on her father has changed her life.
“She is someone who eats, breathes and lives for social media – this documentary has seen the positivity fall by the wayside. Every day the attacks keep coming.
“It is just too much, and she is just overwhelmed. It is like the eyes of the world are glaring at her every moment.”
Paramedics and police confirmed they attended
Paris’s home early on Saturday morning amid claims she had cut herself and needed to be put on “psychiatric hold”. But the actress later posted a picture on Instagram, when out of the facility, and tweeted: “F *** you, you f ****** liars.”
She was later seen out on Saturday with musician boyfriend Gabriel Glenn grabbing a KFC.
Asked by reporters if she has been in hospital, Paris replied: “Yeah, it’s bulls**t dude.”
The source said: “At the moment her family are not sure what the truth is about what happened on Saturday but are deeply concerned.
“Paris has past mental health issues, and this is very serious.”
Paris has suffered anxiety and depression. In 2017 she admitted attempting suicide “multiple times”, and reportedly checked into rehab in January.
