Matic in rally cry

- By DAVE ARMITAGE

Match report in pullout NEMANJA MATIC says it’s crucial Manchester United don’t allow their season to fizzle out.

A second successive defeat sent United crashing out of the FA Cup at Wolves.

It followed hot on the heels of a loss at Arsenal and the Serbian midfielder says this is no time for a slump.

Matic said: “We are sad we are out. We gave everything but they were the better side and deserved to win.

“We cannot let it go like this. There is a lot to play for. We have eight games to play in the Premier League and we are fighting for the top four.

“We have the Champions League as well. We will see what we are able to do but we have to learn from this type of game.”
