FA Cup rail deal

A STRIKE by London Underground workers planned for over the FA Cup final weekend has been halted.

About 1,000 members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union, including maintenance and engineering workers, were due to walk out for three days from Friday morning.

London Underground bosses struck a deal over cuts, said the union.
