JUNE Brown finds it “difficult” to learn her EastEnders lines.

The 92-year-old, who first appeared in Albert Square as Dot Cotton in 1985, has admitted she struggles to read and remember the script.

She told ITV’s Loose Women: “It’s a bit difficult in a way. They do my scripts in font... It means you don’t have the whole play, you only have your part and two lines.

“I have a visual memory – or had – and I could read it twice and I’d know it. So I have to learn everything now with my eyes, but it’s not so easy.”

She also shrugged off the idea of being a star, insisting she was more of a “household name like Daz and Persil”.
