Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera HARRY KANE will be named in the England squad for the Nations League.

Boss Gareth Southgate unveils his squad tomorrow and has made fitness checks on his skipper with both the player and Spurs which have convinced him to put Kane in.

He is facing a race to be fit for the Champions League final on June 1 and England’s Nations League semi-final with Holland on June 6.

But the 25-year-old, who suffered an ankle injury in the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City last month, is confident of being fit and is desperate to be involved.

Kane is expected to do some ball work by the end of the week and is hoping to then start sprinting.

Southgate is expected to name an enlarged squad having also kept tabs on Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks who has had groin surgery but is confident of being ready.

UEFA have insisted that England must trim the squad down to 23 by May 27 even though Liverpool and Tottenham play in the Champions League final on June 1.
