Gary is a good Citizen

KANE ROLE: Oldman GARY Oldman is set to star in a biopic about the writer of iconic movie Citizen Kane.

The British actor, 61, will play Hollywood screenwriter Herman Mankiewicz, who co-wrote the legendary film with Orson Welles.

The flick will be called Mank, in director David Fincher’s lattest offering.

Mankiewicz’s involvement in Citizen Kane led to trouble as well as fame.

He and Wells clashed over who should take the most credit, and fans of the film took sides.
