Couples fall out in real world

★ LOVE Island is wrecking viewers’ relationships. A survey has found that the nightly ITV2 dating show is causing rows among couples and affecting their sex lives. ★ Some 43% of Brits have cancelled plans with their other half to catch up on the antics of Tommy, Maura and co.

And 39% of fans admit they have fantasised about an islander during sex with their partner. ★ A third of those polled say they have even been banned from watching the show.

And one in ten have threatened to leave their partner because of being obsessed with the series. ★ The survey was carried out by online casino PlayOJO. A spokesman said: “Love Island is based around finding and promoting love in the villa. ★ “However our research suggests that, for some couples, the show is doing the exact opposite in the real world.”
