Drinker’s £3k for snouts

A WOMAN who had her nose removed after being headbutted by a dog has a new prosthetic to match her flushed face after she’s had a few bevvies.

Jayne Hardman, 49, developed Wegener’s granulomatosis, a rare autoimmune disease that rotted the flesh from her face in 2014.

She has spent £3,000 on a collection of magnetic snouts for different occasions – including a red one for when she’s enjoyed a few snifters.

Her usual fake snozzer doesn’t match her rosy cheeks when she is tipsy. Jayne, from Redditch, Worcs, said: “They use a little gadget that they put on your face which matches the tone needed for the prosthetic, it’s kind of like highlights.

“They make it look as lifelike as possible, and with this new drunk nose, I keep it in my bag and pop it on after a few drinks which matches perfectly.

“When I’m out in the sun, or having a drink, sometimes people ask questions about it, but it doesn’t happen as much as you would think.”

Jayne had her nose removed after the headbutt by the family dog, Cece, a 14st Neapolitan mastiff, in 2014.
