It’s a dead funny time for Murray

THERE are some droll lines in this ramshackle zombie comedy but the deadpan deliveries of Bill Murray and Adam Driver provide all the laughs.
The joke here is to view the zombie apocalypse from the perspective of two morose policemen (Murray and Driver) who seem to take the flesh-eating undead in their stride.
Chloë Sevigny plays the town’s only worried cop
Waits is hermit.
Meanwhile, Steve Buscemi plays an angry farmer and the first zombie to stumble in is played (perhaps to save on makeup) by veteran rocker Iggy Pop.
Tilda Swinton has the wackiest role as a Samurai-sword wielding Scottish undertaker from outer space.
The plot is thinner than a US president’s skin, but the zombiebashing stars are a fun bunch to hang out with. and Tom a bearded ON PATROL: Murray, Sevigny and Driver
