Fiancé upsets guests

-

I FEEL that my fiancé is deliberately falling out with everyone I know and love.

Our wedding is planned for June 2020. I want a big affair with lots of guests, while he’s talking about a pared-back event.

So far he’s argued with my aunt and uncle, my two oldest school pals and my parents’ oldest friends – none of whom is now attending.

It’s as if he’s picking them off one by one.

At the moment he’s involved in a feud with my brother over cash and my brother-in-law about a car.

My parents have warned me that unless he starts saying sorry and building bridges, they can’t guarantee that they will attend.

JANE SAYS: Your fiancé needs to be stopped in his tracks and told to calm down. You’re not stupid and can see a pattern emerging.

He may think he’s being clever but you will not be steamrollered into having a cut-price wedding because you’re an equal partner.

It doesn’t bode well if he’s trying to control you. Have you thought what married life might be like with him?

Think about his attitude before you take another step forwards.
