Costa on Pell’s list

WEST HAM are weighing up a move for Diego Costa.

The Irons are examining all options after missing out on Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez.

Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini wants a top quality replacement after losing strikers Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez.

Costa, 30, is on the way out of Atletico Madrid this summer following the breakdown of his relationship with the club he went on strike at Chelsea to join.

West Ham also have another former Chelsea striker, Gonzalo Higuain, in their sights along with Eintracht Frankfurt’s Sebastien Haller.

Higuain is available following Chelsea’s decision to send him back to Juventus at the end of an unimpressive loan spell.
