Blast off for lunar stamps

THE Isle of Man Post Office has issued a set of eight stamps to commemorate the Apollo space programme and the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing.

The designs showcase the beauty of space, the Moon and the vehicles that took humanity to its surface.

Maxine Cannon said: “The Moon landing were milestones in space travel and therefore deserve to be commemorated.”
