Great Brit Bake Off’s Paul ends marriage
BAKE Off judge Paul Hollywood and wife Alexandra divorced in just 10 seconds yesterday.
The brief hearing at the Central Family Court in London marked an end to their 21-year marriage.
But the last few years were a roller coaster after Paul admitted in 2013 to cheating on her with US Bake Off co-star Marcela Valladolid.
Despite patching things up, the couple split for good in 2017.
Paul, 53, has since begun dating 24-year-old barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam.
Last August Alexandra filed for divorce claiming her husband had cheated on her – but the couple have insisted their relationship only began after the marriage ended.
Speaking after their split Alexandra said: “I don’t regret taking Paul back that first time. I never regret anything I’ve done.
“I thought things through and it was the right thing to do for me and my son. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
“I don’t feel angry with
Paul – though of course there’s a certain amount of hurt.
“Anger is emotive and I’m not carrying that around with me. All it does is upset you.”
Earlier this year, Alexandra hit back at reports she had let rip a foulmouth rant at Summer in a shop in Canterbury, Kent.
She said: “All I can say is that there was no row. I didn’t use that language.”
