Sitcom filming ‘no fun’

-

FAMILIES are fuming about Gavin And Stacey after TV crews brought chaos to their street.

Neighbours who live on the road where James Corden is making the BBC One Christmas special are complaining about large crowds and being kept up all night by bright lights.

They say fans are making their lives a misery by trying to glimpse stars, such as Ruth Jones, Joanna Page, Mat Horne and Rob Brydon, as late as 3am.

Laura Davies, 40, lives on Trinity Street, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, and says the set for the BBC sitcom has brought chaos.

She said: “It is stopping me from getting out and about to take the children to school.

“They are filming all through the night too using bright spotlights.

“Every single person in this street is unhappy.”

Neighbour Neil Evans added: “It’s mad, people are still outside our door at 3am. One family sat on the pavement with a takeaway and made an evening of it.”

The special is set to top the Christmas Day TV viewing figures.
