Snowflakes’ bizarre gender war
SNOWFLAKE council chiefs have banned words such as manhole and manpower.
They are also demanding that pregnant women are now called “pregnant employees”.
And brothers or sisters must be described as siblings.
Manhole will become maintenance hole, manpower is changed to human effort and manufactured simply becomes machine-made.
Bosses at Berkeley City Council in California say they needed to update their municipal code so it was “degenderised”. A jargon-riddled document introducing the changes says: “Broadening societal awareness of transgender and gender nonconforming identities has brought to light the importance of non-binary gender inclusivity.
“Amending the municipal code to include gender-neutral pronouns by eliminating any gender preference language within the municipal code will promote equality.”
One resident mocked the changes, saying: “This is so important. Forget about the crumbling streets and all the homeless and totally focus on this.”
Another jokingly suggested more changes such as manipulation becoming personipulation and renaming Manchester as Personchester.
Council member Rigel Robinson, a key backer of the shake-up, said: “Gender neutral language creates a lot of room to acknowledge that it’s not just men running the country”
