THE SEX PARTY HOSTESS SARAH Jane Banahan, 34, was born in Liverpool and raised in Cornwall.
She got into the sex party business after throwing her then-boyfriend an orgy for his birthday.
She says: “Growing up, I never liked rules, I never liked being told what to do – I was the black sheep of the family. “I worked in fashion for 10 years, got bored, moved to Asia and met my ex-boyfriend.
“I was always a bit kinky anyway and I threw an orgy as a surprise birthday treat for him – it was one of his fantasies.
“I went on a website, invited 10-12 people and about 35-40 showed up at this hotel suite.
“It was very glamorous and such a success, the guests asked me when the next one was.
“I hadn’t planned to do this as a career but we travelled around the world a lot and wherever we went, I started hosting parties, building up my database of clients.”
Now Sarah Jane works hosting exclusive parties the world over and is an ambassador for Clique Lifestyle.

“There are couples and singles at the parties and you might be going to Bangkok, to London or Singapore – the last party was in the Philippines,” she says.
“It’s very high-end and very private – you have to be a member to be invited. We stay connected via Clique like Facebook.”
And no two parties are the same, according to Sarah. “There’s a different theme every night so it could be BDSM or couple swap,” she says.
“If there’s a whip and chains theme, bring a whip and have a chain around your neck.
“Girls dress up in lingerie, everyone brings their own sex toys and it’s a place to try out your fantasies.
“Maybe you have a plan of what you want to do, or what you want someone to do to you, or maybe you just want to watch.
“You start off talking to people, build a rapport, go with the flow and by the end of the night sex just sort of happens. But it doesn’t always end up one big orgy.
“Sometimes you can just meet friends, who you might play with next time.
“It finishes about 4am, although there’s always the odd one or two banging away like rabbits.”
And Sarah adds: “I’ve had a few celebrities at my parties. There was one well-known guy who came in. He started playing with a girl and then he freaked and ran out.”
Single Sarah admits she researches sex techniques so she’s at the top of her game.
“I’m very confident sexually,” she says. “You can’t preach what you don’t know. As the hostess, I’ll dress up in lingerie and chat to everyone – if I want to have a play, I will.
“I’ve swung in the past and there might be a threesome with friends after a drunken night, but after a while the fantasy wears off.”
Sarah will thoroughly vet all participants and insists it takes more than just good looks and money to get in.
“I vet people on the phone and call them and get to know their personality,” she says.
“I look at their social media and where they’re from – there’s a lot of weirdos out there.
“Nobody wants an obese person but equally you don’t want someone who’s hot and fit but stupid – you need some substance to you.”
In the future Sarah is hoping to write a book and possibly a TV show about her experience.
She adds: “I loved Secret Diary Of A Call Girl so I’d like to do Secret Diary Of A Sex Host.
“I’ve written a couple of chapters but I’ve done so much that needs to be told.
“People say sex parties and swinging are taboo but I don’t think they are any more. It’s everywhere now.
