Moaning goes on all the time

ANY time I complain about anything my sister says: “Well, it’s worse for me!” Then she lists every physical ailment and unfair thing that has ever happened to her.

Her pain is always a million times more intense than mine and I’m made to feel insensitive for even daring to open my mouth. I’m sick of it.

JANE SAYS: Your sister is not in competition with you and it’s wrong of her to shout you down.

Remind her that we’re all individuals and we suffer in different ways. Don’t spend so much time around her if she continually knocks you back because she doesn’t have the monopoly on suffering. Seek out more uplifting friends.
