Eze out to end grim run
EBERE EZE is determined to end QPR’S League Cup misery.
The Championship club have reached the fourth round just once since 1995.
But ahead of the home tie with Portsmouth tonight, Eze, 21 said: “I think we have shown what we are capable of.
“We’ve played some good football at times and created a lot of chances. We have a lot of attacking play but also concentrate at the back. As a team we need to be more clinical but we are showing we are creating chances and getting into good positions.
“Now it is just a case of finishing them off.”
Highly-rated midfielder Eze has become a key man under new boss Mark Warburton.
He added: “He said that needs to be the main point of my play, to create and score.”
