CONOR HOURIHANE netted twice as Aston Villa oozed Premier League class at Gresty Road.

The Ireland international scored his side’s second and third goals after Ezri Konsa opened the scoring against the League Two minnows.

Villa strolled into the third round after the break as Keinan Davis added a fourth from sub Jack Grealish’s cross in the 69th minute.

And another sub, Frederic Guilbert, made it five with 14 minutes left on the clock as he curled home a neat effort.

Ryan Wintle gave the home fans something to cheer about with a goal late on before Grealish made it 6-1. STOKE WIN 5-4 ON PENS JACK HARRISON hit the post in a penalty shoot-out to give Nathan Jones a muchneeded win as Stoke boss.

Harrison was the only player to miss from the spot after Leeds had battled back from 2-0 down.

Jack Butland, who scored Stoke’s fifth penalty, made a second-half howler to allow Eddie Nketiah to score.

Helder Costa then levelled nine minutes from time after Danny Batth and Sam Vokes both scored in the first half. SOUTHAMPTON may just have found themselves another little gem in striker Michael Obafemi.

The 19-year-old netted the 57th-minute winner with a cool finish at Craven Cottage.

Saints, though, who registered their first win of the season at Brighton on Saturday, had to weather an early Fulham storm.

The Cottagers almost got off to a dream start when Bobby Reid’s free-kick bounced down off the underside of the bar.

RED-HOT Bez Lubala saw Crawley claim a Premier League scalp with his fifth goal in six games for the League Two minnows.

Congo-born Lubala, 21, a summer signing from Birmingham, worked a short corner to smash home early against an under-strength Canaries team missing star striker Teemu Pukki.

Back in the top flight this season after winning the Championship, Norwich made 11 changes, handing out six full debuts at a sold-out People’s Pension Stadium – which welcomed its biggest crowd in four years.

Gabriele Cioffi’s Crawley, 12th in the fourth tier, have only been recognised as a professional club since 2005 and were captained by the EFL’s oldest player in midfielder Dannie Bulman, 40.

But they took a shock lead in the 17th minute when Norwich striker Adam Idah took a wild swing at a shot from Lubala and deflected it past Ralf Farhmann into the far corner of the German’s net.

It was the on-loan Schalke keeper’s first start since he let in seven against Manchester City in the

March.

Crawley fans celebrated by letting off a flare while the 1,700 travelling Canaries supporters, who had struggled to get to West Sussex due to chaos on the roads, were stunned into silence.

Norwich hit the post through Patrick Roberts and the crossbar through sub Emiliano Buendia while Roberts had a second-half penalty shout turned down.

But Ollie Palmer was only denied a second for the underdogs by a fingertip save from Fahrmann.

At times Norwich looked like a bunch of strangers and had boss Daniel Farke booked for dissent in the closing stages. Champions League in
