Player to face trial

A FOOTBALLER charged over a serious assault outside a city centre nightclub is set to face trial.

Bristol City’s George Dowling, 20, appeared at Bristol Crown Court with Ellis Harper, 26. Both deny causing grievous bodily harm with intent in Clifton and were bailed. The trial will take place in February.
