Rapper shot in raid on hol villa
A BRITISH rapper was shot in Portugal during a suspected robbery.
Mist, 27, was blasted in the leg before burglars allegedly took his passport, phone and jewels.
The Birmingham-born musician was on holiday at a rented villa in the Algarve.
The MOBO-winning artist, real name Rhys Thomas Sylvester, was driven to hospital in the city of Faro by two pals.
They told police he had been shot in the leg by “two or three men with Irish accents”.
Sources say it may have been a targeted attack, with the intruders asking where Mist was before firing at him. No arrests have yet been made.
Armed officers broke into the villa to make sure that burglars were no longer inside.
A police source said: “We didn’t know what we would find inside the villa, so it was needed to guarantee everybody’s safety by making sure the villa was clear of any armed person.”
