Seal bite man may lose arm
A MARINE wildlife volunteer may have to have his arm amputated after being bitten by a seal.
The man, known only as Richard, was left with a deep 3in-wide wound after stepping in to help the pup who had been in a fight with another seal.
The incident took place on Caister beach in Norfolk where many seals have an infection which causes rotting in the mouth.
He was taken to A&E and given strong antibiotics.
