Girl gang ties up & robs other Brits at hols hotel

FIVE British women have been arrested in Ibiza for allegedly tying up two other holidaymak­ers and stealing their money.

The girl gang – aged 29 to 34 – is said to have broke into the pair’s room at the Ibiza Rocks hotel in San Antonio while the victims were inside.

They allegedly stole £452 women, who were also British.

According to local media, one of the victims managed to break free and alert hotel security.

Sources said the women were charged with violent robbery and illegal detention, and then released to await a future court appearance.

The arrests followed a recent from the spate of violence and tragedy involving British citizens in San Antonio. Six English ex-pats aged 20 to 27 were arrested in connection with a drug-dealing racket. Police who carried out raids on two properties in the town seized a massive quantity of ecstasy tablets and ketamine. And at least 12 police officers were injured as they arrested 73 people at an illegal rave attended by 1,000 people, including Brits.

One officer had to shoot into the air to avoid being attacked by revellers after trying to stop the music.

Meanwhile Monica McGeachie, from Dunoon, Argyll, has been placed in an induced coma after falling from a window at San Antonio’s Piscis Park Hotel while celebratin­g her 30th birthday.
