Andrew lawsuit threat

-

A LAWYER representing one of paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers says legal action may be taken against Prince Andrew.

David Boies urged the Duke of York to “just come clean” over his client Virginia Giuffre’s claims that she was forced into sex with the royal.

The lawyer said he has asked to interview Andrew and is willing to travel to London. He said going through the courts could be one course of action.

Mr Boies said: “One of the options is to bring a lawsuit. I think we and other counsel in the US are exploring what the options are – I hope we don’t have to go down that road but we’d consider it.”

Andrew has issued a statement in which he said of Epstein: “At no stage during the limited time I spent with him did I see, witness or suspect any behaviour of the sort that subsequently led to his arrest and conviction.”

Last night fresh pictures emerged of Prince Andrew together with Epstein and Donald Trump at his Mara-Lago resort in Florida in December 2000.
