Smith set for Ashes

STEVE SMITH returned to action yesterday after his concussion scare – but only as a bowler.

The Aussie skipper started his comeback against Derbyshire but was only called on to bowl one over.

He seems certain to be recalled for the fourth Ashes Test at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

England selectors will meet to discuss their side for the game today.
