Kerry’s found God & peace

- ■ by ALEXANDER BROWN

BRITAIN’S MPs will now return to Parliament today which will sit at 11.30am.

Boris Johnson has said he will respect the decision by the Supreme Court.

It is now expected the Government will likely call a vote for a quick recess, allowing them a few days away for their own party conference next week.

Labour could call a vote of no confidence to force a general election, but yesterday Jeremy Corbyn suggested his party will first wait for an extension to the October 31 Brexit deadline.

With just 36 days to go until then, Parliament is still in deadlock over Brexit and nothing has changed. SUPREME Court president Lady Hale causes a social media meltdown after delivering her verdict wearing a giant spider brooch.

The flesh-eating camel spider brooch absolutely stole the show as Lady Hale pulled the plug Boris Johnson’s prorogation of Parliament.

T-shirts with the spider in the same position have already gone up on eBay, with 30% of the £10 price going to homelessness charity Shelter.

They have already raised over £5,000, with Labour MP Jess Phillips declaring her own plans to buy one. KERRY Katona claims to have found God in the wake of her ex-husband George Kay’s death in July.

The former Atomic Kitten singer has been attending church services.

Writing in her New! magazine column, she said: “I really do believe I’ve found a new lease of life through going to the Hillsong Church every week.

“I’ve always been very spiritual and I was raised a Christian, but in recent months I’ve experienced a lot of happiness in attending the services and learning more about Jesus, especially in the wake of George’s death.

“I’m not the type to ram it down people’s throats, but I always felt something was missing in my life, and now I’ve found it.”

Mum-of-five Kerry added: “I love history, I love anything biblical, so I’m very keen to learn more about it.

“People might have opinions, but having faith has made me happy, so I hope they respect that.”
