NAS’ LIL BREAK

-

LOOKS like Halsey may have got her dream man, Evan Peters.

According to US sources the pair have been “seeing each other for several weeks” and are enjoying each other’s company. Back in 2012

Halsey tweeted: “Petition for Evan Peters to date me.”

Looks like the campaign paid off. JEFF Lynne’s ELO release new album From Out Of Nowhere on November 1.

He says the title track came as a surprise – even to himself, saying “That’s exactly where it came from. It’s the first one I wrote for this album and it’s kind of like that.” HIS sudden rise to fame has proven too much for American rapper Lil Nas X.

The Old Town Road hitmaker took to Twitter to announce he is taking a break and has cancelled his next two shows.

He wrote: “It’s been a wild last seven months and I’m ready to take a little time off.

“Sorry to everyone attending Twitchcon or the Sandbox music festival, I will not be there.” HAVING gone on hiatus for six years, it’s no wonder singer Tom Chaplin looked nervous for the first songs at Keane’s comeback tour.

However, it’s sound problems rather than any lingering doubts about his bandmates that are to blame. Once Tom’s vocals are fixed, the quartet are back to the theatrics that made them one of the biggest bands of the ’00s.

New album – Cause And Effect – sounds like Keane were never away, its songs fitting in perfectly among classics like Everybody’s Changing and Somewhere Only We Know in a marathon show that ran for more than two hours. Tom relaxes enough to joke with the front rows, even throwing in additional tune Hamburg Song after a fan’s request, warning: “If this goes wrong, Frances, it’s your fault!”

The bonus song was typical of how Keane made the famous venue feel intimate, helped by a classy lightshow and relaxed playing.

It was as if Keane had picked up their performance in the middle of their heyday. Whether they’ll be as big as before, who knows? Everybody’s changing? Thankfully, not Keane. LEWIS Capaldi says he still hasn’t moved out of his parents’ house because he keeps spending his money on deep-fried food!

He may be a billion-stream superstar but the Someone You Loved hitmaker admitted he’s yet to see much of his earnings and what he has seen has gone straight to his stomach.

Lewis, who performed on Strictly last night shared: “There’s always room to earn more, I still live with my parents so I don’t think I am earning that much money!

“And all I spend my money on is food because I can’t help stuffing my face.

“I am splurging on food and it shows, it’s showing on my gut, my gut is expanding every day.”

When he sees the cash, Lewis plans on keeping his purchases simple, adding: “I’d like to buy a nice watch one day but that’s if I don’t spend all my money on food.”

Well it’s that or a python... Lewis laughed: “What do people with money buy? Exotic animals?

“Mike Tyson had a tiger, Justin Bieber had that monkey, Michael Jackson had a monkey too but none of these guys had big fat snakes.”

Last week Lewis released brand new EP Bruises and he’s said it’s his way of thanking the fans for their support with hugely successful debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

Lewis gushed: “I just wanted to put out one more bit of music before the end of the year just to thank everybody for the best year of my life.” Shakira
